I used a silicone mold, this is how you avoid buttering the dish. This time it will be an apple brioche cake.

Ingredients

(editor’s note: The numbers in parentheses correspond to Weight Watchers smartpoints)

  • 50 grams of sugar (12 green, blue, purple)
  • 3 eggs (7 green, 0 blue, purple)
  • 8 slices of WW brioche (18 green, blue, purple)
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder
  • 200 grams of cream with 4/5% fat (7 green, blue, purple)
  • 4 apples

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to thermostat 180°C.
  • Place your silicone mold on your cold perforated aluminum plate and set aside.
  • Peel and cut the apples into thin slices like you would for a pie.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and cream with the sugar.
  • Quickly dip the 4 slices of brioche in the mixture (cream egg preparation), then place them in the mold.
  • Arrange the apple slices nicely and sprinkle with cinnamon, pour half of the preparation over the brioche slices.
  • Then place the other 4 slices of brioche on top.
  • And pour the rest of the mixture onto the tops of the brioche slices.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Wait a little before unmolding.

This dessert can be enjoyed warm or cold.

A real delight, I who love brioche bread, I enjoyed it. To do it again, I would quickly dip the slices in the appliance in order to properly moisten the slices of sandwich bread.
